Zambian midfielder Prisca Chilufya and her BIIK Kazygurt teammates collected silverware at the International Women’s Club Tournament in Turkey after they beat Montenegro in the Final by a 3-1 score. Prisca scored one and chipped in with an assist.
Zambia Women’s National Team striker Racheal Kundananji scored the first goal of the match for the SD Eibar side that slipped to a 3-1 defeat in their Primera Ibedrola encounter away at Real Sociedad.
Over in the Reto Iberdrola Zambia Women’s National Team striker featured Racheal Nachula featured for the Zaragoza CFF side that ran out 3-0 winners in their away encounter at CD Pradejon. Club/country-mate Hellen Mubanga traveled with the team but was not included in the match day squad.
In the Turkcell Women’s Football League, Misozi Zulu and his Hakkarigucu Spor teammates had an off weekend.
Elsewhere in the Turkcell Women’s Football League, Zambia Women’s National Team goalkeeper Hazel Nali made her debut and kept for the Fatih Vatan Spor club that thrashed Kocaeli Bayan FK 4-0.

The American born Inonge was at one time gunning for an opportunity to represent the Zambia Women’s National Team. She is currently a first-year master’s student at the John’s Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, studying epidemiology and health disparities.
Former South West Oklahoma attacking midfielder Memory Phiri is making a comeback to the game after shelving it for a while owing to studies. The dazzling winger is now on the books of club side Snohomish FC put in a good shift scoring one and and filling up the stats sheet with three assists for them in their 6-3 weekend win over Oly-Pen Force.
